The ALMA Regional Center (Taiwan-ARC) at ASIAA and Taiwan Astronomical Research Alliance (TARA) are pleased to host the ALMA Imaging Workshop from September 2nd to 4th, 2026.
The workshop will cover relevant information about:
- ALMA data structure
- Radio astronomy
- Analysis/imaging tools
- Archival services
The workshop will feature talks and hands-on sessions. Users who are interested in ALMA data and imaging topics, with a practical approach, are encouraged to attend.
- Time: September 2nd (Wednesday) - 4th (Friday), 2026
- Place: Room 1203, Astronomy-Mathematics Building, ASIAA
- Registration Deadline: August 26th (Wednesday), 2026
Financial Support (limit)
To encourage student participation, TARA offers financial support to students. The support includes coverage for travel expenses and accommodation for September 2nd and 3rd. (Accommodation support is available only for students residing more than 80 km away from the venue.)

Actions
Users attending the hands-on sessions need to prepare the following BEFORE coming to the workshop:
- a laptop with at least 30GB free space
- CASA 6.6.6 installed
- Download tutorial materials (Available in late August).
