Oral Presentation
A Cryogenic 40-nm CMOS Low Noise Amplifier
Presenter: Shih-Yun Chen (ASIAA)
This talk will present a 0.01-to-3-GHz cryogenic low-noise amplifier (LNA) designed for the reflectometry readout of spin qubits in quantum computing applications. Motivated by the noise-cancelling technique, the circuit adopts a revised inverter-based topology, achieving optimized room-temperature performance with a sub-1 dB NF and over-30 dB gain, within 10 mW of power consumption. The implemented chip is tested in a custom housing at 4.5 K using the cold-attenuator method, reaching a minimum noise temperature of 15 K.
