Introduction of Pfs Emission-line GAlaxy SUrvey with Subaru
Presenter: Mariko Kubo (Kwansei Gakuin University)
Large-scale structures of the Universe are developed through hierarchical assembly of dark matter, in which clusters
of galaxies are developed at their intersections. To understand the physics of galaxy formation and evolution, it is thus
crucial for us to quantify their properties systematically as a function of time, environment, and mass of galaxies.
To satisfy the above requirements, we started open-use PFS spectroscopic follow-up observations for the narrow-band emitters (NBEs) at 0.4 < z < 1.6 selected by the HSC-SSP and CHORUS in the COSMOS–UDF. Here we introduce the survey description and the current status.
