Are all dense clouds perpendicular to their interstellar magnetic field directions?

We compare the projected interstellar magnetic fields of 15 Gould Belt clouds based on 353 GHz polarized thermal emission observations by Planck and optical/NIR polarized observations of background starlight. And we find that cloud-field alignment shows a bimodal distribution for both methods.
