ALMA polaraimetric observations has allowed for the first time to detect and resolve well the linearly polarized dust emission from circumstellar disks around young stellar objects (YSO). However, under the physical conditions of these disks, millimeter polarization can also be produced by self-scateriing and by radiative flux alignment of large grains. Here, I will present some of examples of disks around low and high mass YSO.
