Perspectives about (polarization) observations using ALMA Band 1

We have successfully detected the polarized dust continuum emission at 40-48 GHz towards the Class 0 young stellar object NGC1333 IRAS4A, using the Jansky Very Large Array. The polarization position angles detected at 6.9 mm are in excellent agreement with those observed by SMA and ALMA at higher frequency bands. I will provide my perspectives on the potential upcoming observations using the Band 1 (30-50 GHz) receivers being built in Taiwan, which will play the role of constraining the magnetic field and the dust properties at the lowest observable frequencies from multi-wavelength campaigns of dust polarization observations.
