Oral Presentation
Mapping The Early Processes of Star Formation With ALMA
Presenter: Chin-Fei Lee (ASIAA)
Stars like our Sun are continuously forming throughout our home galaxy, the
Milky Way. The Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA),
currently the most powerful radio interferometric array on Earth, provides
unprecedented sensitivity and resolution, allowing us to observe
star-forming regions in remarkable detail. In this talk, I will present our
latest ALMA results on star formation, with a focus on accretion disks and
protostellar jets. I will also discuss how future analyses can be enhanced
with ALMA Band 1 and the upcoming WSU capabilities.
