Oral Presentation
Early Grain Growth in the Young Protostellar Disk HH 212
Presenter: Ying-Chi Hu (ASIAA)
The growth of dust grains during the early stage of star formation is a key process in planet formation. In this talk, I will provide an overview of star and planet formation and present evidence of dust grain growth based on (sub)millimeter observations. Using high-resolution multi-wavelength observations from ALMA and VLA, I will show our recent result of possible grain growth in the protostellar disk in the HH 212 system.
