We report the development of the Magneto-Electric Dipole (MED) Antenna tailored for Fast Radio Burst (FRB) detection as part of the Bustling Universe Radio Survey Telescope in Taiwan (BURSTT). The MED Antenna features a wide bandwidth (300-800 MHz), high gain (approximately 7 dBi), and a 25 dB Front-to-back ratio. With its compact footprint (45x45 cm2), low profile (17 cm), and large Field of View (FWHM $100ºx100º), the MED Antenna is perfect for use in an antenna array searching for astronomical events across a wide Field of View. Alongside the development of a robust radome, the MED antenna demonstrates exceptional weather endurance, making it an ideal choice for antenna arrays in tropical regions, such as the BURSTT project in Taiwan, capable of withstanding rains and typhoons. Its simple structure reduces fabrication costs and facilitates easy maintenance. We have successfully implemented the entire front-end system, integrating the MED antennas, at the Nantou outrigger station of BURSTT. In this presentation, we present the design, fabrication, and performance of the MED Antenna.
