The ALMA Regional Center (Taiwan-ARC) of ASIAA and the University Consortium of ALMA-Taiwan (UCAT) are pleased to host jointly an ALMA Users Workshop for potential ALMA users in Taiwan on March 30 (Wednesday), 2022. Below is the announcement:
ALMA Cycle 9 Users Workshop
Time: March 30, 2022
Place: Room 1203, AS/NTU Astronomy-Mathematics Building, ASIAA
Registration Deadline: March 27, 2022.
The call for proposal for ALMA Cycle 9 is anticipated to be issued on March 24, 2022. The ALMA Cycle 9 Users Workshop is designed for preparing ALMA Cycle 9 proposals. It is intended for graduate students, postdocs, faculty members and people who are interested in using ALMA.

Action items BEFORE coming to the workshop:
- read through call for proposal, ALMA primer, proposers guide and technical handbook
- install the latest version of OT and CASA (6.2 or later) in your laptop
- Download Materials of CASA Image Simulation Tutorial
- Feel free to ask ARC members for help if there is any difficulty during the installation
Furthermore, EA ARC jointly invites the Proposal Handling Team to the 30-min session on the proposal review process for the East Asia user community.
