Magnetic braking catastrophe provides a challenge for circumstellar disk formation. Our work (Väisälä et al (2019) and Li et al. (2013)) has demonstrated that formation of circumstellar disks is possible though beneficial alignment of magnetic fields with respect to rotation. Apart from disk formation, misalignment of magnetic field and rotation can lead to spiral behaviour shape by the magnetically directed inflowing gas. In addition, resulting orbits are distinctly elliptical. Based on these results, I aim to examine the effect role of magnetic field effects on circumstellar disk formation in a discursive manner.
