Invited Presentation
Disk formation in a magnetized dense core
Presenter: Hsi-Wei Yen (ASIAA)
In this presentation, I will briefly review our studies of gas kinematics and magnetic field structures from 0.1 pc to 10 au scales in the Class 0 protostar B335 using singe-dish telescopes, SMA, and especially ALMA as well as MHD simulations. In addition, I will introduce our latest results hinting at disk formation in B335 obtained with ALMA at 3-4 au resolutions. I will discuss these results in the context of disk formation in a magnetized dense cores and comment on the roles of non-ideal MHD effects, misalignment between magnetic field and rotational axis, and turbulence in disk formation.
