Dust evolution in three-dimensional gaps in protoplanetary disks

The interaction between dust and gas in protoplanetary disks plays a key role in planet formation from both observational and theoretical perspectives. I will present recent and ongoing studies of dust-gas interaction in three-dimensional disks. Topics include dust settling, disk-planet interaction, and the streaming instability.
