The ALMA Regional Center (Taiwan-ARC) of ASIAA and the University Consortium of ALMA-Taiwan (UCAT) are pleased to host jointly a one-day ALMA Users Workshop for potential ALMA users in Taiwan on March 26, 2018.

The call for proposal for ALMA Cycle 6 will be issued on March 20, 2018. The ALMA Cycle 6 Users Workshop is designed for preparing ALMA Cycle 6 proposals. It is intended for graduate students, postdocs, faculty members and people who are interested in using ALMA. The deadline for registration is March 16, 2018.

The programs of the ALMA Users Workshop (March 26) includes:

• ALMA Cycle 6 capability
• Suggestions of ALMA proposal preparation
• ALMA science portal
• Observing Tool (OT)
• CASA image simulation

2. install the latest version of OT and CASA in your laptop Instructions of CASA Installation
3. Download Materials of CASA Image Simulation Tutorial
4. Feel free to ask ARC members for help if there is any difficulty during the installation
