Oral Presentation
The studies of nearby star forming regions and protoplanetary disks with ALMA
Presenter: Munetake Momose (Ibaraki University)
Thanks to its unprecedented sensitivity and spatial resolution, ALMA is providing us with striking informations about nearby star-forming regions and protoplanetary disks. In this talk, I will review some important results related to the star and planet formations; the topics will include the formation of protoplanetary disks, the internal structure of protoplanetary disks, characterization of dust particles in the disks, and the rotation of jets and outflows. Based on these achievements, I would also discuss a possible direction for future studies of the protoplanetary disks with Subaru.
