Space-VLBI Activities in Japan

Space-VLBI activities bythe collaborations of ISAS and NAOJ were reviewd. So-called TDRSS-OVLBI experiment with JPL/NASA 1986-1988 was the beginning, and 64m and 45m antennas were used in Japan. VSOP(VLBI Space Observatry Programme) was conducted successfully with satellite HALCA launch in 1997 and open scientific access to the world community. These activities opend new window to the universe, and Prof. Inoue played important role throuout the activities.
