March 9 (from Taoyuan airport to NTHU: For those who arrive by 15:00 , please find our workers at Arrival Hall in terminal 2 at 15:30.; For those who arrive by 18:30 , please find our workers at Arrival Hall in terminal 1 or 2 at 19:00; Our workers will hold a sign bearing the workshop's title.
March 13 (from hotels to Taoyuan airport): 6:30 Berkeley Hotel > 6:40 Royal Hotel > 6:50 NTHU Guest House; 9:00 Berkeley Hotel > 9:10 Royal Hotel > 9:20 NTHU Guest House

Taxi: Fare around NTD $1,300 (USD $40).
Public transportation: a total Fare at either NTD $178 (USD $6) or NTD $360 (USD $11) by a combined service of THSR (Taiwan High Speed Rail) and buses. Find the airport shuttle bus (NTD $30) for THSR Taoyuan station. Take THSR from Taoyuan to Hsinchu (NTD $130). Then take either a taxi (NTD $200) or bus #182 (NTD $18). The bus stop is right outside the THSR station.

From Taipei Main Station:

Fare at NTD $130 (USD $4). Take bus #9003 operated by Hsinchu Bus (新竹客運) on the 2nd floor of the Taipei Bus Station (台北轉運站), which is about 30 meters north to Taipei Main Station (台北車站). Get off at NTHU main gate.

From ASIAA:

Fare at NTD $160 (USD $5). Take Ya-Lan Bus (亞聯客運) and get off at NTHU main gate.

Accommodation & Transportation

The LOC will provide transportation for Taoyuan Airport on 3/9 and 3/13 (perhaps also 3/12 evening), the schedule will be announced in early February. We will also provide assistance to book a room at the nearby hotels: Berkeley Hotel, Royal Hotel or NTHU Guest House. Please fill out the reservation form (PDF) and send to Hank Ting before February 2, 2017. Room reservation is first come, first serve. All reservation requests received after February 2 will be confirmed upon space availability basis of the hotel.
