Oral Presentation
SiO emission in Infrared Dark Cloud
Presenter: Quang Nguyen luong (KASI)
We report the analysis of SiO observations in a sample of InfRared-Dark Clouds (IRDCs) based on the new ALMA observation in Cycle 3.
We show that shocks are ubiquitous in massive star forming regions and (co)exist in different types: high-velocity versus low-velocity shocks, J-(Jump) and C-(continuous) type shocks. Comparing the morphologies and abundances, we will show the different observational signatures between C-and J-shocks and their implications on massive star formation.
