Oral Presentation
Counter-Rotation between the Disk and Envelope around IRAS 04169+2702
Presenter: Shigehisa Takakuwa (Kagoshima University)
From our previous SMA observations of a Class I protostar IRAS 04169+2702 in 13CO (3-2), we found an evidence for counter-rotation of the Keplerian disk with respect to the protostellar envelope. Angular momentum transfer from protostellar envelopes to disks is crucial to discuss mechanism of disk formation. Magnetic fields are considered to take a key role in the angular momentum transfer, but direct observations of the effects of the magnetic fields in disk formation have been difficult. Identification of counter-rotation between the envelope and disk must be a strong evidence for the effect of magnetic field. In this talk we will review these results and propose the follow-up ALMA cycle 5 observation.
