Oral Presentation
Molecular Outflows of NGC 3628 in Large Scale
Presenter: Anli Tsai (NCU)
Galactic outflows eject gas and energy into the intergalactic medium. This process affects star formation activities in galaxies and plays a key role on galaxies evolution. NGC3628 is a nearby starburst galaxies having 7-10kpc ionized outflows. However, our previous NMA observations only detected a 0.5kpc molecular outflow due to its FOV. We proposed to ALMA and ARO to detect the molecular outflow in a larger area for follow-up study.
