Oral Presentation
Molecular Gas Kinematics at the Core of Nearby Galaxies
Presenter: Kyoko Onishi (SOKENDAI (The Graduate University for Advanced Studies))
ALMA observations of molecular gas at galaxy centers have enabled to trace kinematics of the central gas disk with highest spatial resolution than ever achieved.
We will show ~30pc resolution observations of a couple of nearby galaxies obtained from ALMA observations.
These data allow us to estimate mass distributions of the galaxies and thus to measure masses of central supermassive black holes (SMBHs).
We will then discuss on future prospects including our plans for Cycle 5 proposals.
