Task Description and Goals

Molecular outflows from massive protostars can impact the molecular cores in several ways such as adding turbulence or dragging material. The aim of the project is quantify the impact of the jet/outflow associated with protostellar core G10.34 through the analyze of the ALMA Band 6 observations of the SiO, H2CO, and CH3OH molecular line emissions. We estimate the mass of the outflow and of the envelope, as well as the kinetic energy and compare with the gravitational binding of the cloud.
