Introduction
Influenced by the Symposium for Early Career Astronomers for young faculty, we initiated the first Symposium for Early Career Astronomers (SECA) for Postdocs in Taiwan. This two-day symposium aims to support postdoctoral researchers in astronomy by providing career development guidance and opportunities to build a strong peer network.
The program includes panel discussions on finding faculty positions (both in Taiwan and internationally), becoming an effective mentor, project management, and postdoc research flash talks. By bringing together experienced faculty and early-career researchers, SECA for Postdocs offers a platform for exchanging insights, sharing experiences, and fostering collaborations within the astronomy community.
