Spin parity distribution of spiral galaxies in the Spin Catalogs of PanSTARRS and HSC

Observed spin parity of spiral galaxies (S-wise or Z-wise winding of spiral structure as projected on the sky) provides an independent and complementary measure to the shape parameters (axis ratio and position angle) to study large scale parity violation in the distribution of galaxies. We are compiling spin parity catalog of galaxies for the PanSTARRS and HSC samples. Methods of analyses and some results from tentative analyses on the observed data will be shown.
