Cosmic shear is a powerful probe of the underlying dark matter distribution in large-scale structure. Since the cosmic shear is a spin-2 field, it can be decomposed into the parity-even E mode and the parity-odd B mode, and thus parity symmetry breaking can be investigated. Here we develop an optimal estimator of the binned window-free cosmic shear power spectra, based on the pixel-based maximum likelihood estimator, on the flat sky. We show that this method can suppress the artificial B mode power spectrum much better over all the multipole range than that of the conventional Pseudo-Cl estimator. Our estimator would be powerful to test the parity-violated power spectrum from the cutting-edge cosmic shear data such as the Subaru Hyper Suprime-Cam data.
