Parity-odd Mode of Galaxies' Four-Point Correlation Functions with Extended Views
Presenter: Jiamin Hou (University of Florida / Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics)
Measuring statistically significant parity-odd modes of galaxies' four-point correlation functions provides hints of parity violation at cosmological scales. In this talk, I will present our data analysis on the BOSS galaxy sample with a focus on various observational effects. I will also discuss some future aspects of extending the analysis and establishing a connection with other observables. In addition, I will also discuss an alternative interpretation of the basis that we choose to represent the parity-odd mode.
