Oral Presentation
AIMS太阳望远镜研制进展
Presenter: Yuliang Shen (中国科学院国家天文台)
The accurate infrared solar magnetic field measurement system (AIMS) is the first solar telescope dedicated to mid-infrared solar magnetic field measurement in the world. The optical system of AIMS is extremely complex and can be divided into five sub-systems based on its functions: telescope system, transfer system, derotator system, collimation system, and focal plane equipment system. In order to reduce the impact of infrared radiation on the measurement of the solar magnetic field, AIMS is designed as an off-axis optical system. However, the off-axis optical system does not have an actual reference optical axis, the difficulty of alignment is enormous. How to achieve precise alignment and obtain excellent image quality is the biggest challenge faced by the AIMS telescope for accurate solar magnetic field observation. In this talk, I will present the optical design of AIMS and the latest process of the optical system alignment.
