Apply Lucky Image Technique on the Lulin One-meter Telescope

We tested the lucky image (LI) technique on the Lulin One-meter Telescope (LOT) by using a commercial-grade CMOS camera. Based on the LI observations on the core of globular cluster M15, we demonstrated that it is possible to apply LI technique on meter-class telescopes, even using a commercial CMOS camera. We achieved improvements on FWHM from a factor of ~1.3 to ~2.0 when compared to conventional long-exposure image, and reaching sub-arcsecond accuracy on astrometry.
