Stellar morphology of dusty star-forming galaxies at cosmic noon
Presenter: Chian-Chou Chen (tc) (ASIAA)
Physical properties of dusty star-forming galaxies (DSFGs) at cosmic noon offer key insights into the formation theory of massive galaxies, in particular at their active mass build-up phases. JWST has offered a golden opportunity in measuring stellar morphology of DSFGs in unprecedented detail, providing an exclusive window at mid-infrared such that the underlying stellar mass structures can be more faithfully unveiled. In this contribution I will share our recent results on this topic, in particular on sizes, as well as lay out some of the exciting plans for the near future.
