Whether the distribution of galaxy spin is random or show some dynamical memory of their formation process has been a controversial issue. The axis ratio and position angle of galaxies were used to study intrinsic alignment of their distribution with respect to the large scale structure. We are making independent and complementary approach to use spiral galaxies identifying whether their spiral pattern is S-wise or Z-wise. We compiled a catalog of 139,536 galaxies from the PanSTARRS image library and report some results of its analysis in relation to the formation scenario of galaxies.
