High-resolution spectroscopic and efficient ALMA studies of distant Herschel-selected galaxies

Herschel has revealed near- one million galaxies in submm emission. At the highest redshifts and luminosities, many sources are gravitationally lensed - as revealed by ALMA. In this talk, I will explore how ALMA has, and will transform the study of submm-selected galaxies using its high resolution and spectroscopic prowess.
