Accretion Disk around the Forming O-Star IRAS 18089-1732
Presenter: Vivien Chen (NTHU)
Using the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA), we have resolved both molecular line and dust continuum emission around a forming O-type protostar, IRAS 18089-1732, to test its accretion disk scenario previously suggested in the innermost ~3600 AU region of its circumstellar environment. The continuum observations at 1.3mm show a compact component associated with extended arm-like structures. Multiple K components of J=12–11 transitions of CH3CN show a hot rotating accretion flow with complicated substructures around the central protostar.
