Oral Presentation
Star Formation Triggered by Dense Core Collision and Some Indirect Evidence of ALMA Observations.
Presenter: Fumitaka Nakamura (NAOJ)
In this presentation, I will mention that the collision of dense cores frequently happen in star-forming regions, particularly in cluster-forming or high-mass star-forming regions, based on the very simplified assumption. Asymmetric structures observed in protostellar cores, e.g., streamers, may originate from such collisions. We compare the images of the ALMA observations (Sanhueza et al.) with numerical results. Some of the structures appear to form by the core collision.
