Cluster Observables and Mass Calibration: An Exercise in Robustness
Presenter: Youngsoo Park (Kavli IPMU)
In a combined cluster cosmology analysis, combinations of multiple cluster-related observables are employed to improve constraints and self-calibrate systematics. In this exercise, we compare 1) the constraining power and 2) robustness to mass calibration errors exhibited by two different combinations, namely abundance + cluster lensing + cluster clustering and lensing + clustering only. The results suggest that adding abundance to lensing and clustering represents a trade-off between constraining power and robustness to mass calibration errors.
