Invited Presentation
Galaxy quenching explored with HSC^2, PFS^2, and ULTIMATE-K
Presenter: Tadayuki Kodama (Tohoku University)
We are conducting a project on distant clusters named Hybrid Search
for Clusters with HSC (HSC^2). This provides excellent opportunities
for us to investigate galaxy quenching (mass and environment) with
hundreds of galaxy clusters and post-starburst galaxies therein at
0.4
to resolve recent star formation and quenching histories of individual
galaxies by placing constraints on timescale and burstiness. We are
also planning to expand such systematic cluster survey back in time to
z~5 with wide-field NIR (in particular K-band) imaging survey with
ULTIMATE-Subaru, using lots of narrow- and medium-band filters.
