Multicolor Follow Up Observation of Quasar Optical Variability with CRTS samples
Presenter: Takashi Horiuchi (NAOJ)
It is known that quasars show variability over multi wavelength such as X-ray, UV/optical, and radio. Typical UV/optical variability amplitude of quasars is 0.1 for months, and 0.5 for years. In resent years, Catalina Real-time Transient Survey (CRTS) reports short term large optical (calibrated to Johnson V) variability of quasars as archive data (e.g. optical variability reaches over 1.0 within several weeks). However, properties of multi-band variability these quasars. I performed follow up observation for these CRTS quasar samples using 105 cm Murikabushi telescope with MITSuME. In this talk, I'll talk about properties of multi-band variability of CRTS samples.
