Ha reverberation Mapping of NGC 4395 using narrow-band photometry
Presenter: Hojin Cho (Seoul National University)
NGC 4395 is a dwarf galaxy harboring an active black hole with the lowest AGN luminosity among the known Seyfert 1 galaxies. We performed two optical monitoring campaigns in 2017 and 2018 in order to measure the time lag of Ha emission and to test the size-luminosity relation at the low-luminosity end. Using the light curves drawn from V-band and narrow Hα-band photometry, we measure the time lag and investigate the size-luminosity relation. We will discuss the implications.
