Expanding VLBI in East Asia and AGN science

The international collaboration of VLBI in East Asia is rapidly growing. Besides the successful integration of KVN and VERA (KaVA), now our network is expanding into China and other neighboring countries. This ultimately forms the East Asian VLBI Network (EAVN) and stimulates various new science collaboration among researchers in the EA region.

In this talk I will overview the EAVN and various ongoing AGN studies where VLBI/EAVN are playing a key role. I will also try to discuss how VLBI/EAVN can play a role in the era of multi-wavelength astronomy with various MWL facilities.
