ASTE band7+8 receiver project

We are developing a prototype receiver system targeted for multi-pixel 2SB receivers on the ALMA Total Power array, which will increase speed of single-dish observations required in ALMA. The prototype receiver system is planned to be tested on the ASTE telescope in Atacama desert. During the first phase of this development efforts to cover both ALMA band7 and Band 8 frequency ranges (275-500 GHz) have been made by the collaboration team from Korea and Japan endorsed by EA ALMA management. The status of the first phase is presented in this talk.
