Announcement
The receiver technology on mm/sub-mm wavelength in East Asian region has tremendously grown in past two decades. Many astronomical facilities operating at mm/sub-mm wavelength were initiated and constructed through regional collaboration. The East Asia Submillimeter- wave Receiver Technology Workshop (EA Rx Workshop) is an annual workshop started at 1998, which provides a platform for the researchers in EA region to share and discuss the receiver technologies and projects in mm/sub-mm wavelength. Through this workshop, regional collaboration and receiver technology have been promoted significantly. The EA Rx Workshop is hosted alternatively among NAOJ (National Astronomical of Japan), PMO (Purple Mountain Observatory), KASI (Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute), and ASIAA (Academia Sinica, Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics).
The radio instrumentation group in ASIAA is pleasure to host the 19th East Asia Submillimeter- wave Receiver Technology Workshop. The workshop will be held in Taipei, 28-30 November 2017. The workshop covers all aspects related to submillimeter-wave receiver technology including project status report, device/module, and frontend/backend system. We would like to invite the researchers in EA region and other regions who work on the receiver technology to participate this workshop.
