Oral Presentation

The ATCA 7-mm line survey of SgrB2

The Compact Array Broadband Backend (CABB) of the Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA) was used to make a single-pointing line survey of Sagittarius B2 (SgrB2) N over the range 30 to 50 GHz (see Corby et al. 2015, MNRAS, 452, 3969). The CABB broad-band mode provided 2 simultaneous spectra 2 GHz wide, hocawever, a trade-off of this correlator mode is 1 MHz pixels giving 6 to 10 km/s in velocity, which is not optimal. We present results from the ATCA SgrB2 survey as a guide to what ALMA can do for such rich spectral line interferometric studies.
