Polarization observations with ALMA: a multi wavelength approach

Here I will present some recent results obtained with ALMA using the full polarization continuum capability. The ALMA angular resolution and sensitivity has revealed that dust polarized continuum emission can arise either from dust grains aligned with the magnetic field or either from self-scattering. The ambiguity may be solved by pursuing multi wavelength observations in full polarization mode. In this approach, Band 1 would be essential for characterizing the dust polarization spectrum.
