Maser Sciences with ALMA Band 1

Author(s): Tomoya Hirota (NAOJ)

Presenter: Tomoya Hirota (NAOJ)

In the ALMA band 1 frequency range, several maser lines can be observed such as CH3OH, vibrationally excited SiO, and its isotopologues. They are good targets for high-resolution observations of star-forming regions and late-type stars including proper motion measurements with VLBI. Maser lines are also good probes for polarization measurements. I will propose science cases for maser observations with ALMA band 1. In particular, I will focus on collaboration of ALMA and VLBI studies.
