Chemistry in Star Formation

I will review our current understanding of chemistry in star formation. Particularly I discuss chemistry in high-mass star-formation regions, the use of chemical species as tracers for physical processes, and the benefits of observing many species at once. A special emphasis will be on strategies to rapidly analyze large amounts of spectral line data, which will be particularly relevant to wSMA.
