CO(3-2) and CO(4-3) Observations of Nearby U/LIRGs

We present recent observational results in CO(3-2) obtained toward a sample of nearby merging U/LIRGs using the ASTE telescope. We will discuss the data in the context of star formation efficiency and merger stage. We also discuss our ongoing plan to observe the sample in CO(4-3), and to follow-up the same sources at the SMA.
