Exploration of High Redshift Galaxies through Intensity Mapping

Intensity mapping has emerged as a powerful tool for exploring the cool gas contents of the early galaxies, enabling measurements of vast numbers of galaxies as integrated ensembles, that would otherwise be difficult (and observationally expensive) to detect individually. I will briefly discuss the potential for intensity mapping experiments with the wSMA, including the prospect of exploring galaxies within the Epoch of Reionization through [CII] intensity mapping.
