Presenter: Qingwen Wu (Huazhong University of Science and Technology)

The jet formation is still an open issue, where BH spin, accretion modes, large-scale magnetic field etc are believed to be play some kind of roles. I will show that the hot plasma (e.g., ADAF/corona), not the cold gas, may play a key role in jet formation, based on the theoretical and observational analysis for AGNs and XRBs. The suppressed radio emission in high soft state of XRBs may be caused by the decrease of corona due to stronger cooling when cool disk is formed. We also find that the radio-X-ray correlation is changed simultaneously as the change in the relation of hard X-ray photon index-X-ray flux in XRBs, which strong suggest that jet is relate to hot plasma. Some other observational evidences will also be discussed (e.g., jet physics in M 87).
