Final Circular

This is the final circular of the meeting. The meeting program has been already uploaded in the meeting webpage. Please send any requests about the program to Nagao (tohrucosmos.ehime-u.ac.jp) as soon as possible, if you have.

We would ask the participants with a poster presentation to give also a short talk (~1 min or less, using only 1 or 2 slides). Please prepare both poster and a brief presentation. For oral presenters, please include the current status of your related HSC projects and specific action items in your presentation.

Also, please input your final presentation titles and abstracts on the web. The web is now open for your final input. You can the input by accessing the web address you found on the registration confirmation mail you received upon your registration. Please do not forget to provide your mail address at the top of the update page for confirmation. Also, check your updates on the web, which should be immediately updated on the web if it is successfully accepted. Note that no more acknowledging mail will be sent to you.

The workshop will be held at ASIAA in Taipei. Though the climate of Taipei in December is nice and comfortable, it could be somewhat cold in the nighttime (the temperature could reach down to ~10 deg in Celsius). The institute locates in the middle of the Taipei city and within the campus of National Taiwan University. The meeting room is at the 12th floor in the Astronomy-Mathematics building. Please take an elevator up to *11F*, and take an internal stairs to reach the 12F conference room. For those who stay at the Howard International House, our building is about 10 min. walk within the campus from the hotel.

This HSC-AGN workshop will start at 13:30 on the 18th Dec (Thu), and will end at 13:00 on the 20th Dec (Sat). Lunch boxes will be provided on the 2nd and 3rd days. We are sorry that we decided not to provide the lunch boxes on the 1st day. Please try your favorite local lunches by yourself. On the 2nd day, the lunch delivery desk will be open during at 12:00-12:30 in front of the meeting room, and during 13:00-13:30 on the 3rd day at the same place. Please let us know if you have registered but do NOT need the lunch box(es) upon your registration on the 1st day.

On the Day2 (19th Dec), we will have the meeting banquet at a restaurant within the walking distance from ASIAA. The price is about 700 NTD per person (not yet fixed). Please pay the banquet fee at the registration desk when you arrive the meeting place. Note that we will NOT issue an receipt for you. We might ask you some extra fee at the restaurant individually, if you will have some alcohol drinks. Please send email to the LOC asap, if you will NOT attend this banquet (ohyamaasiaa.sinica.edu.tw).

On the Day3 (20th Dec), the building will be LOCKED since it is Saturday. Some local persons will unlock the entrance for you from 09:15am to 10:15am (the morning session will start at 10:00am). If you would arrive the building later than 10:15am, please contact to the ASIAA secretary (+886-2-3365-2200 for international calls or 02-3365-2200 for domestic calls).
