Third Circular

This is the third circular of our workshop, that is dedicated for intensive face-to-face discussion among AGN/SMBH researchers participating in the Hyper Suprime Cam (HSC) collaboration. If you have not yet registered through the registration webform but are planning to attend the workshop, please complete your registration by 21st November. For those who have already completed the registration, please submit the title and abstract of your contribution (oral or poster) by visiting the registration webform again and checking the "registered participants only" part at the bottom of the page (if you have not yet submitted the title and abstract). The deadline of the submission of your presentation title and abstract is 21st November.

We will contact to you if you have requested the travel support, soon after the registration deadline (21st November).

Now we would ask you to check your registration confirmation email that the web system sent out when you registered. If needed, visit our webform following the link on the email to update the information. When updating the registration information or adding the title and abstract of your presentation, please do not forget to provide your mail address at the top of the update page for confirmation. Once successfully updated, you will immediately see the updated information on the web. If you fail, you will see warning messages, and you need to try it again after revising the contents according to the warnings. Note that no more acknowledging mail will be sent to you.

For those who reserved the Howard hotel, we believe you have already received a confirmation letter from the hotel. If not, please ask the hotel directly for confirming your reservation, or contact Shirley Huang of ASIAA (hyhuangasiaa.sinica.edu.tw) for her assistance. Please check your reservation on the confirmation letter, and reply the hotel if you find something you need to correct. If you reserved the hotel without specifying the payment method, please check the remark No. 5 about their policy for keeping the room in the evening of your check-in. The workshop will start at 13:30 on the 18th Dec (Thu), and will end at 13:00 on the 20th Dec (Sat). Lunch boxes for everyday (18th, 19th, and 20th Dec) will be provided for the "registered" attendants. Please let us know if you do NOT need the lunch box(es) by sending email to me (tohru@cosmos.ehime-u.ac.jp). The workshop will be held at ASIAA in Taipei. The institute locates in the middle of the Taipei city and within the campus of National Taiwan University. The meeting room is at the 12th floor in the Astronomy-Mathematics building.
