Oral Presentation
Destruction of the Circumstellar Disk during the early period of the Cluster
Presenter: Taku Hasegawa (Tokyo University)
There are only a few planets found in the cluster so far. In the cluster, circumstellar disks, material of the planet, can be destroyed by radiation from the surrounding OB stars (photoevaporation) and close encounters between stars. It can supress the formation of the planets. In this study, we performed N-body simulations considering the effects of photoevaporation and stellar encounters to investigate the contribution of two effects to destruction of the disks. We used primitive clusters as the initial conditions, which is modelled by Fujii & Portegies Zwart (2015). As a result, it turned out that both effects play a major role in the external destruction of the disks and that especially evaporation effect is dominant in the center of the young massive clusters.
